MAdeline Brunt

I initially stopped dancing after high school, thinking my journey with it had come to an end. As I transitioned to college, I never imagined I would dance again. I thought to myself “Why would I dance, if I cannot find a place as comforting and special as OCCB?”  However, when I discovered PAC on campus, I was unexpectedly drawn back in. It was as if the passion I once had was reignited. The Performing Arts Company allowed me to explore different styles and movements without the weight of expectations, and I quickly fell in love with dance all over again.

As I became more involved, I took on the role of president of the Performing Arts Company, which gave me the incredible opportunity to lead others. Sharing my passion for dance with those experiencing it for the first time was profoundly rewarding. Watching my peers grow, gain confidence, and find their own joy in movement was a beautiful experience. It reinforced my belief that dance is not just a personal journey but a communal one, where we can all connect and uplift each other through creativity and expression. Teaching allowed me to cultivate this love further, turning my personal passion into a shared experience that enriches both my life and the lives of my students.
